Mafalda Galante

Mafalda Galante is a Portuguese violinist and a member of the Ulster Orchestra. She began her musical studies at a young age and has since developed into a versatile and dedicated performer. Mafalda recently completed the Hallé/RNCM Advanced Orchestra String Programme, following her Master of Arts degree with Distinction from the Royal Academy of Music, where she studied with Jack Liebeck. She previously earned First Class Honours in her undergraduate studies at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire under the guidance of Nathaniel Vallois.

As a teacher, Mafalda is committed to nurturing students’ motivation, confidence, and joy in music-making. She believes in fostering a supportive learning environment where students can develop both technical skills and expressive freedom through the act of playing music.
