Ruta Mazolyte-Aghaunor

Ruta Mazolyte-Aghaunor is a professional violinist from Lithuania and a member of Ulster Orchestra. Ruta started playing the violin when she was six years old and completed her Masters studies at the Lithuanian academy of music and theatre. She is a participant and laureate of many international violin and chamber music competitions and festivals. As a soloist, Ruta has performed with Lithuanian National Symphony Orchestra and, Kremerata Baltica’’

As a teacher, Ruta aspires to develop students’ motivation for learning and self-expression through music. She believes students should enjoy the act of playing music and the process of learning.
